Case Repair

I was looking at the cases of my parts motor and noticed a few chips like this curious is this fixable?

thats more than a chip
they have been repaired in that area before, but it's not easy, requires tig welding, and having that missing piece helps alot too

all the gears everything else seems to be good but the cases have taking a huge beating I'm thinking its more scrap metal.

I've fixed a case that was busted like that. It wasn't a fun job and like awk said it would really help to have the piece of case

Is there any other damaged areas?
