Carb setup with 240 kit

Hey everyone,

I have a 240 kit that I am finishing up. It came with a 34mm Mikuni and a twist throttle kit.

I don't have a cable for the thumb throttle for this carb but I want to use a thumb throttle.

I have a 28mm mikuni flatside that has a thumb throttle cable, will this work well or what can I expect?

your gonna need to jet it but you would get more out of a larger carb like the 34, im gonna try my 38mm laying around here somewhere when i get the 240 kit, good luck

your best bet would be to use a 34-35mm carb and buy a thumb throttle for it

maybe a little more money but if thats no problem then go for it
