? carb needle setting, needed

I got my main jets today, I got a 260 and a 280.
Im gonna start with the 280.

The question I have is the needle.

What slot should I place the needle at ?

Right now its on the 3rd one from the bottom.

I did not know if I should leave it or move it up or raise down ?


Gonna be running a fmf fatty and power core two.

engine stock, except for oil injection block off and .80 over aka 68mm. Piston / cylinder. no oil injection, block off on it.

you SHOULD be good in the middle position. You'll know if you need something different because it'll bog down or sputter out when you first touch the throttle if you need something different
