Maybe someone can answer this for me. I have 04 and 05 blasters and my sons Polaris scrambler 90. why do all three carbs occasionally overflow once or twice after a few hours of riding? all three have clean carbs, but every now and then fuel starts dumping, I shut the petcock off, open it back up start and ride with fuel leak gone. thanks.

After a period of time, varnish can buildup on the needle and seat sealing surfaces, which can cause the fuel not to be shut of completely.

Revolving a Q tip coated with a little toothpaste in the seat can help remove the varnish.

Needles do wear or the rubber tipped ones get hardened after time and may let fuel leak past!
