Bore kits

I have an 01 Blaster and need to get it bored. The only piston had busted and scratched my cylinder wall, not huge scars, just tiny scratches. I need to get a new piston kit for it, we measured it and it came up 66.7mm and we found 2 pistons. 1 being 66.00, the other being 65.5. Which would be best, bore it over, or just buying a new piston? If I should bore it, what size should I go, if I should buy a new piston, what size should I get? Sorry, not too smart with this stuff right now

take, or send it to a reputable shop, they will measure and tell you what piston to buy, then they'll bore it to that exact piston when it arrives to them.

If the piston busted there will be shrapnel in the crankcase and you will have to split the case to replace the bearings as well.
