My 01 seems to have an air leak, but when I tested it I didn't find anything. Going to retry soon. I tightened everything up and it does idle now, didnt before. But whenever I crank into the gas it bogs down then kicks back up? Also, when its idling(not sure if it does it when riding) if you turn the wheel to the right it just completely dies? Doesn't do it on the left.

It sounds like you have the idle speed adjusted with the throttle cable.
The throttle cable should be slackened off so that no increase in revs happen when you turn the bars,
With the idle problem I would be doing the leak test again....just to make sure...
