Ok just want to start off buy saying ive never messed with 2 strokes i got this for very cheap guy said something about this throttle kill switch was what was wrong with it (tors) anyway his mechanic said he got it to crank and he rode it and it just sputterd and died he said it just needed an overhaul it that he thought the ring was bad it will try to crank but smell kinda bad and seem like its backfiring through the carb but this is one out of maybe 15 trys it will do that it has compression just not sure if it has enough but i can push it all the way down with my hand do i just need to overhaul it?

u really need a compression tester so u can see how much compression u got. or u can end up wasting ur money on a rebuild that u might not need.
Ok motor has the block off kit full fmf exhaust and a k/n is all i can tell thats done to it i poured a little gas in to the cylnder and it busted off but dident run its not backfiring either its accually just putting a few puffs of smoke out the exhaust it has spark and the plug is wet
