Blaster not running right.

I have a 98 Yamaha blaster and when it's running and I press the gas, it continues to run high like I'm still giving it gas and after I drive it for a while, when I slow down it goes full throttle by itself for a few seconds and shuts off. I figured it has something to do with the carburetor. Can I please get some help, thanks.

I think that you should do a leak test.....

You may also have a fuel restriction or a blocked jet.
