Started putting top end together, of course, nothing can ever go nice n smooth. Head bolt is stripped, was sticking out 2mm taller than others. Pulled it out, retaped it, retaped hole. No go. Top of hole is stripped. Must of been from previous owner cuz the metal was stuck in threads, and i was only torquing it to 10footlbs.

Whats my best option? Re-drill and tap to 9mm? That means i will have to drill head hole to 9mm. Just wanna get some insight on how to tackle this before i do it.

@chris....i'm not sure, but i'd be willing to bet ken has them in stock and a call to him will have one on it's way to you, plus the info on what drill and tap to use.

After some research, their all the same between years. I have to place an order for a washer for clutch anyways because Ken doesnt have any.
