Ball joint please help

Hi, need a little help I got my control arms powder coated and the rubber boots / dust seals I had them taken off with the clips or whatever they are still on the seals.. I took them off so the ball joint could be capped off. I want to put the boots back on but can't seem to figure out how to open the clips or put them on correctly any advice would we great thanks guys

There's plastic in the stock ball joints that melts if your powdercoater doesn't know exactly what he's doing with powder coating stock A arms. If miraculously they're not melted, put the boot on then kinda squish it so it gets smaller diameter at the mid point and wind the clip around. It's tricky. Be careful not to poke a hole in the boot. A small screwdriver helps to wind it around.
