i know the 250r rear shock will bolt up with a bit of modding to the bushing thats what i heard anyways, but will 250r front shocks bolt up? how long are they?

One inch to long. Unless the rear r shock is works or something, or ubber cheap get a 400ex or 450r shock. Way newer, and probably less $$$
im talking about the front shocks, is it bad to just compress the shocks a little bit to make them fit?

they most certainly will, as they will hold the
a-arms on their sharpest angle.
i ran 16'+ yfz works triple rate shocks on my black bike, the ball joints got destroyed in 1 season.
how much riding is that? im only asking becuase i could get a killer deal on 250r showa shocks 15 1/2 inches
Well, add the price of new a-arms to that bill because like AWK said, they will destroy the ball joints.
that was on the black bike, back when my son was riding it regularly, and myself a few times if my bike was down for something.
prolly 100+ hours that season on the black bike.
here's my take, unless you plan on getting aftermarket a-arms in the next year or 2, (with replaceable ball joints)
beacuse you purposely destroyed the ball joints on your existing ones........
i wouldn't risk it.
used stock arms in good condition are getting scarcer by the day
that has never been proven ?
sleds jump with them ?
are sleds designed to bottom out in the soft snow ?
