anybody try dying white plastics?

ive taken plastic shells for paintball hoppers clear 1s and drop into a boiling pot of rit dye for about 2-3 minutes and it will dye then that color sometimes takes a few dip and cooling cycles to get a nice aggressive dark color i was wondering if anybody out there has tried somthing like that on white blaster plastics?

no, but that would probably work, it would be hard to get a rear fender in a pot big enough thou haha

i guess, you would have to fill it up with boiling water and if you have one of those new fiberglass tubs make sure it dont stain

i have a gas hot water heater i can turn way up to get some hot water in the tub thanks for the idea oh and if your worried about staining the tub just line the tub with a tarp
