98 blaster runs good then boggs after riden for a 1/2 hr

I just got new piston and rings and complete gasket kit my buddy help me he did his not to long ago.anyway it fired right up let it idle for a 1/2 hr the then road it for an hour in the woodsjust takin it easy till its broke in then started to bogg then it would kick in every once in a while it rev great in nuetral but notn in gear it seems like it runs good for a 1/2 hr then strarts acting goofy also put new reeds in and the tors wires were cut when i got it in feb and the oil block ofv kit; i've been mixing 32;1 never missed with jetting but dipped the carb and cleaned the hell out of it when i got it

sounds like it could be a bad break in. if you let her idle for a 1/2 hour the first time you started her, then you might have overheated the rings, which would explain why she runs good for awhile then when she's all warm she cuts out.......check your compression.

yes had head bored out then all new gaskets

i dropped my main jet to a 220 and it runs great now but after a few hours of riden she idles high i miss with air screw get it back down pull in clutch its starts again
