400ex?

Since my Blaster was stolen last month, I've been looking at a bigger quad. I see the 400EX's are pretty cheap around here. I know a couple of you guys have them, and was looking for advice on buying used. Any years to stay away from, anything to look for when buying?

I know it's not a 2 stroke, and won't have as much fun on it, or as much get up and go off the line, but I'm looking for a bigger quad for my fat ass and electric start is a plus!

Here is what I'm looking at now, offered him $1000.

if u can pick that up for 1 g i'd say do it, but i'd look for a z400 or a banshee or a raptor 700, they are big quads and rlly nice rides

I would go with a LTZ400 they will put a spanking on a 400ex and they handle great its like your sitting on a sofa but that is a clean 400ex

I'd be all over that deal if it runs and rides well. I'd rather have a ltz400 over a 400ex, too, but for that price its hard to go wrong. Worth a look.
