225cc Airsal Cylinder Kit

nice to see these are still around and at a decent price, but i wonder what size piston it requires and if it's readily available ?

It would be a 71 mm piston, then up from there..

Stroke 57mm x bore 71mm x bore 71mm x .0007854 =225.6

there is no up, this is a nikaseal lined aluminum cylinder, no steel sleeve to overbore.
as are all the airsal's

oh, then a 71mm 225cc makes sense.

i thought 72mm with the +6 rod could make a 248cc? yes or no there?

72.50mm with a +3 crank = 248cc

the +6 crank w/ 72.5mm piston comes out to 260cc :)

63 x 72.5 x 72.5 x .0007854 = 260cc

An airsal 240 kit uses a 71mm piston. Unlike most bb 240 kits that start off at 71.95/72 mm pistons. One can only assume that is a airsal bb cylinder. Both airsal and ct make a 200 cc cylinder to stay within rules for mx.
My second dragger runs a +6 Kor beast mode crank. :)

Most big bore kits are measure on its last bore.
CT240
first bore 72.00mm = 232CC
72.25 - .010 = 234CC
72.50 - .020 = 235CC
Last bore 73mm = 239CC
