Does anyone on here have a 2000 silverado 1500 4wd with tow pkg?
I am in need of a pic of Taillight circuit board in the rear by spare tire/or a wiring diagram.
it has 4 wire harness 1 of them was hacked.
It is my brothers truck and i cant find anything on the internet for pics/wire diagrams ect.

Someone cut 1 of the harnesses and rigged the crap out of it:mad:
know no hazard or right turn signal in rear of truck....
I know i can pay for manual ect.. just wondering if anybody got's 1 to help me?

I think other years are the same/models but not all..

That is a nice truck. I'm looking to buy a used truck first of the year. Prices of used pickups are crazy. If I didn't need a pickup , I could get a very nice low mileage SUV for about half of a pickup in the same condition and mileage.

IT DEFFINETLY needed some tlc
less then 50 bucks id say to pass inspection
that i actually fixed,not my brother and he works on cars more then i do lol:)

although it came with some 22in RIMS:D
A ALPINE AMP AND CD PLAYER
 
That's a good price. I have been seeing trucks like that with 250,000 plus miles going for around 5-6 thousand. I have seen some good deal but most seem over priced in my opinion for year, condition and mileage.

Try and find a nice Toyota Tacoma. May be a bit more cash but run FOREVER! That's all I own.
 
it has 146,000 on it.
his heart was set on a chevy extra cab 4x4 ..
i found it for him /help fix it litteraly
and you got to remember this was insurance money from his s1o that got slammed into in front of my new house.
SOOO he upgrade for free lol:D

it needed body filler and some electrical work for the light's to all function
other then that it is is very good shapeo_O

he paid $1800 for the s10 insurance cut him a check for $3200 on the other guys ins lol.
they totaled it and all it needed was a new bed...?

we/I search for like 3-4 days and came up with this..Bunch of old junk for sale in the time of december
it still has more miles on it then either of my vehicles but
i would buy it lol...i made him drive 1hr 30min to get it.
he is also older then me by almost 2yrs:eek:

perfect ride for him to destroy as always.

i looked and looked...
live chatted with a guy from autozone ect..
he said no they dont have diagrams ect:mad:
called dealership/junk yards ect
i just wanted written proof before i wired up anything.
he ended up having a friend wire it for him off the trailer wires.

i spent enough time figuring out where the problem lied with the fuses/relay's/alarm that was hacked installed/then he just had to touch the radio which ended up with no dash light after HE touched it....I told him it was a problem with the harness on the rear and i was right:D.......FOR THE 3RD TIME on this truck
me and have been working on it soo much.I just did not have time to continue fixing this thing
especially as it was only in my yard for a few moments time to time.

then today had to fix a door latch on christmas in my front yard.
