1999 Rebuild, will need your help!

I am confident the head will be fine, and I hope it is, so I can do a good review on it, so you guys can start buying them instead of getting the cylinders honed

bore/hone/wiseco piston on my stock japanese cylinder is cheaper than that chi-wanese set-up.

by the detailed info he provided me "built in an overseas warehouse"....
for all we know, wilda could be casting these out of mellow yellow cans down in Bum-fug NC.

I have to share this one!
Pretty new paint.

Just finished the engine a minute ago. Got everything installed because the new kick start spring came early. Then I remembered the thing never sprung back up but figured I might as well fix it anyway!

I am going to fill the engine up with oil with some paper towels under it and make sure there are no leaks and kick it many times with nothing connected to get the oil flowing through everything. My dad said he rebuilt a dirtbike when he was a kid and didn't lube the main bearings and it seized a minute later so now he has me paranoid!

I hope you mean you are going to put 650 ml of oil into the transmission.

If you did not pre oil the engine bearings prior to fitting them do not attempt to kick over or start the engine.

You must also put a tablespoon of oil into the crankcase.

Kicking an engine with no lubrication in it is as bad as starting it!
