Alright, last time i was on, had trouble getting my atv started. Its running good now, but when im at about 1/2 throttle, its seems like no gas is comin and it starts to slow down, like PUTT-PUTT type of thing, but when i hit it to full throttle (and i hit it as if im reving it up at idle!!) it...

I'm new to atv's so forgive me if my question is stupid, but if im not gettin a spark.....where could the problem be!!!

I brought 1996 blaster that didnt start, but had alot of new things on it(bout $1,000 more than whats paid for it) It had an old air filter FULL of sand,that travel all thru that rubber air bag lookin thing that connects to carb...he put a new top end on it...it ran but cut off few minutes...

have 96 blaster that need gas filters cleaned...just dont know where they are!!

Gotta 96 blaster off some one...he said he rode thru the sand dunes alot and now the atv wont start. Have a brand new top end, new spark.....but dont know where to go from here.....its a BADD air filter on there when i got it off him, Could sand went pass filter into carb....clogging...

Ran great for years. Oil always changed with real motorcycle oil and new filters. Took it off the trailer one day, started it, and as I buckled my helmet it stalled at idle. Would not restart. the compression is good and the fuel delivery is good but the spark is weak and a new plug didnt change...

Tryma see if i could just syphon oil out, and is there any specified gear oil to replace it, or are they all the same....PLEASE let me know!!!

Someone gave me the idea in my previous thread about a top end rebuilt...cuz the guy who sold me the atv doesn't have an air filter and may have F'd everything up.....anybody have time to give a 'round about' procedure lemme know.....or do i even need to do so???....PICS OF "NO AIR FILTER"
