So I decided to pull the clutch cover off to inspect the clutch and noticed that the plates are pretty worn. My question is when adjusting the clutch do i leave the springs in when turning the Phillips screw (Rod) to move the lever to line up with the line on the case?

I've done a plug chop at WOT and it looked tan to a coffee color which I am assuming is good from reading on here. My question is how to determine if my needle is in the right position? I picked this up for a nice price of FREE today. one problem though lol. As you can see in the pics there is a bolt stuck in one of the intake holes.
