its easy...for me i removed the whole tors unit on the carb but u dont have to i guess u just unplug the plugs coming from the carb should be 2. then go up front and find the wire coming out of the throttle box down into the front of the quad and unplug it. now, i just spliced the wires together...

um wats the reason for rebuilding? did u have the cylinder bored over for a nice new clean cylinder or r u just replacing the piston bc u may need a new bore if the walls r scored...

well i have a similiar setup same carb but im a lil higher jetted im about 290 main ide say u should be about a 260 or 270 main with the stock clip position and pilot jet.

there should be no need to change ur pilot. ide say with no lid and an fmf a 260 should be about rite. not much should get into the box through the filter but an outerwears should be fine for the 15 bux. put a 260 atleast in the carb and ride it around and check ur plug. richer is better than...

there is nothing wrong with an fmf at all especially for a mainly stock motor. im selling my full fmf gold series exhaust now i used it maybe 2 times on my blaster. i just rebuild my whole motor and its got crazy compression so i need sumthin alot bigger but for a mainly stock motor a fmf will rip.
