my 98 blaster was runing fine then when i put it away then tried to start it the next day it would't start would tenker with things then it would start it did this about ten times .once it started once it would run all day with only one kick to start but put it away then have prob starting it...

figured my prob its the starter clutch theirs these little springs in their that are like ball point springs found better ones one line

check your reeds mine did the same thing when a piece of them broke off

its a 70cc 4 stroke chinese quad it ran fine for a while one day he rode it shut it off and tried to start and the startor just spins, so i took off the side were the stator is and the startor is hooked to a chain that runs to a sproket behind this pulley and it just turns the chain but does not...

I had the same problem i dropped the needle one notch it worked for my 98 blaster if that dont work drop your main jet down one size.

i dropped my main jet to a 220 and it runs great now but after a few hours of riden she idles high i miss with air screw get it back down pull in clutch its starts again

yes had head bored out then all new gaskets

i rode my blaster all day ran great for about 5 hrs the gas got more than half way gone then started reving real high when hoding clutch in miss with air screw get it back to a good idle then it will start all over again its done this it seems like when 3/4 of my gas is gone my throttle cable...

I just got new piston and rings and complete gasket kit my buddy help me he did his not to long ago.anyway it fired right up let it idle for a 1/2 hr the then road it for an hour in the woodsjust takin it easy till its broke in then started to bogg then it would kick in every once in a while it...

98 blaster runs but boggs then foluls

Please help have a 98 just put new rings and piston it was bored 2 up from .050 it ran like a champ for a while now when it starts with a fresh plug it runs great then all of a sudden it boggs down really bad then will kick in here and there and run fine is my jetting off cause i got new piston...

I have the same problem with my 98 blaster and i put new piston and rings in and reeds but did not change jetting it runs till it gets hot then it boggs out then eventually fouls plugs
