Windows 7 ultimate or 8 pro upgrade cd?

Ok, im a win 8 hater too, vista really sucked too! But win 7 is 'ok', or should I rather say, 'acceptable'... XP was the shizniz!!! I still run it on my laptop though and it just works right!!! I use 7 on my desktop, and while its 'nice', I battle very much with program compatability and...

    my voltage regulator works fine??

Remembering it's a AC setup, measure between regulator and ground, you should get at least 12v when revving. If it stays below 12v, disconnect the regulator, and the voltage should be higher that 12v (set headlight to off position before disconnecting regulator!!!) If voltage is still low...

    Black goop

After my rebuild, I also had a spooge leak, it actually blew it all over and took some time to clean up. Replaced exhaust gasket and problem solved! I dont even get any leakage from the slip on/spring clamp. I think the small gap on the slipon coupling wouls anyway carbon up quickly and seal...

    Petcock hard to turn

I have a similar issue, after a petcock rebuild (OEM parts) mine was rather tight too, but can be turned... I had fitted an inline shutoff previously, when the petcock was leaking. I use that most of the time when riding, for convenience.

    Clip came off

Never reuse a clip, it must be replaced every time you remove it... Sounds ridiculous, as there is no real stress on that part, but vibrations can do some funny things.

    Reed broke off

I guess it depends if its steel reeds or fibre. If im not mistaken, was the oem blaster reeds not steel? The fibre reeds "should" disintegrates and be blown out the exhaust.

    gas

Lol, yeah they do EAT gas... especially when modded! I must carry a extra 10 liter of gas tied to the wheelie bar, just to be able to do the same trip with the 400 4pokers. (And then I still closely monitor usage...) You could go back to stock??? For every 40% increase in jet size, you have a...

    Air Filter

Ok, k&n is technically not really paper, but more a special fabric. But bottom line is that foam is far superior for our applications/environment. Just keep it properly oiled and make sure to use some rubber grease at the bottom, to create a proper seal.

    My project gone all wrong

I second the reeds, and also check for propper fuel flow. (Remove gas pipe at carb to confirm flow) Remove carb from intake boot and see if any fuel runs/leaks out after a few minutes. Severe air leak??

    Tank modifications or aftermarket?

I suggest making a custom fitting ally tank. The other option would be to modify your current plastic one, but will need to be professionally plastic welded. .. (I used to do some plastic welding a few years back) Its not that simple though, as you have to match the exact material and filler...

    Re-using A Wiseco Piston?

If it's within spec I don't see why not. But a new set of rings would do no harm.

    BMWDemon325es.

I would leave the wheels as is, it just adds to the old school look. If you want to upgrade to larger ones one day, it would also be sweet. Try and squeeze some 20" harts in those arches.

    Painting Plastics...

Your best bet is to go to a local 'reputable' auto-paint store. 2k (two part/paint+hardener) is used and a flex additive is added, there is a percentage range that can be used, depending on the flexibility of the plastic parts to be sprayed.but that will/should be stated in the specifications...

    Painting Plastics...

IMO, any flexible "plastic" item should get a flex additive to the paint system, otherwise when the paint gets hard (it may take months), it cracks and crazes horribly. A plastic primer and thorough prep job also helps. I have sprayed many a vehicle vender (plastic) and it looks good for a...
