Usually if it's not the float set too high or sticking, it's the jet seat. In a pinch you can gently fix it with a drill bit but, I recommend getting a new one. During all the jossling of riding and transport, the jet rubs against the soft brass and cuts a lip into it.

I agree, that thing sounds really crisp. I've avoided the Banshee because it takes twice the components but I may reconsider. One thing I overlooked though, it's probably a smooth power unlike a single cylinder big bore.

This video is better. I have a 1992 CR500 as well as a 1982 Cr480 and a 1971 CZ380. Big bores are a blast to ride. I've seen most of the CR500 videos if they've been tagged correctly. This is one of my favorites.
