I have a 2005 blaster. compression is at 120. It won't start with the kick start. I pulled it with my Jeep and it started up, and ran great, and idles good, if I turn it off, then immediately kick start it, it starts first kick, but if I wait for more than 5 minutes it won't kick start again.

My guess?
Bad crank seals or an air leak somewhere (case halves? Reed plate?)
Fuel and air sits in the crankcase for starting but only sucks air when cold.
Likely the stator side seal gone hard or loose crankcase bolts or cracked and warped reedbox.
Hard to be sure from here.

Another thought, is the fuel enrichment (choke) working.

Are you keeping your thumb off the throttle when kicking.

Is the air screw set to specs, starting at 1 1/2 turn out.

when was the last time you cleaned the carb?
a clogged pilot jet will make it hard to start
and i have bought blasters that you pull the choke out
then once you kick it/vibration,It shuts itself off needless to say
easy fix but irrelevant at this time unless it does shut off:)
