So I'll be in the market soon and had a few questions. I know I do want to go higher, and forward I believe. Not sure about forward, thoughts on that? And what height? I'm 6ft and want to be able to stand up and ride without bending over terribly.

Which leads to, what bend of bar? I will be going to 1 1/8" bars, and a stem from Lone Star Racing.

I'm thinking of going to +2 +1. Right now I have bar risers(1") with Pro Taper SE bars with a high bend. And they are about perfect. So I want to get back in the range.
If I go +2 then maybe I can go with a lower bend bar?
Also is there a difference in the clamps? Some I see say like, "Pro Taper type", or to that effect.
I know lots of you guys run them, so let me know your input. Thanks

I run a banshee stem. It's a lone star +2+1 anti vibe. Lone star doesn't offer a +1 forward for the blaster. Since the banshee stem is longer than the blaster to begin with, the +2 banshee stem works good for me. I also run pro taper cr high bend bars for a little more height. I'm 6'1. I also didn't narrow the bars either. The one inch forward also makes it feel more roomy in the saddle.

Dave, not sure since i havnt finalized my purchase yet for HPM build bike, but when i talked to lsr they said they do carry +2+1 n also have it on their site. Just adding my input incase someone is incapable of modding their own banshee stem and would like an out of the box blaster stem

That's good to know. I'm leaning torwards the +2+1, with a high bend bar.

I brlieve its yfzmanm? That is 6'1" n runs a +3+1.... Looks crazy high but he likes it. I myself am 6'1" n feel id like +2+1 with 1 1/8 low rise bars. Current trail bike has +1+0 n other has stock height antivibes with 1 1/8 degann bends

I'm a bit over 6'2" and made my stock stem +4 with low rise bars. Yes the stem looks high but they feel right. I wish I could have put them frwrd +1 and I might have only gone up +3. Since I went with a low rise bar I had to bring the stem up higher. All in all its the same height as high rise bars it just looks different since the actual stem is higher. Just remember if you raise the bar without going frwrd it is going to push you back..
if you are a bigger guy I would say +2 or 3 and definetly frwrd +1 if they had frwrd +2 that's what I would do but they don't. I have thought about making a spacer to move the stem forward some. It doesn't seem like a big deal really and wonder why no one else has tried it.

Actually I will try pushing the stem frwrd this weekend and see how it goes. If things go well I will post and let yall know.

Alright thanks. Are you talking about shimming out the clamps that hold the stem on?

you mean putting another block behind the middle plastic stem "bearing clamp?" ? and using a longer bolt, that would be a great idea but my concern on that would be the pitch changing the bottom post guide causing to bind up and also the space uptop in the plastics area not allowing movement... try it with pics and let us know, I may have time to make it to my shop this weekend and check it out aswell I have about 4 spare sets of those bar guides, the halves are about 1" aswell so flipping a spare backwards behind the set would essentially give you that 1" forward.. I believe an actual +2+1 is the +1 in the top most part where antivibe head is above the plastics

Also, moving the bar clamps more than one inch forward, moves the pivot point to far in front of the main bar. I'm afraid that will make the bars really difficult to turn. Even one inch forward makes it a little more of an effort. Not a lot but you can tell.

So I ordered my stem today. I got a LSR +2 +1, with the 1 1/8" clamp, in black. I got it through Galaxy Atv for an awesome price. Now I have to search for some new bars. And while I'm at it, gonna get a tether kill switch, and eliminate the run/stop switch. Not sure about the key yet. I may hide it somewhere. I will be getting rid of my bars, risers, and billet top clamp. Will post up in sale section soon if anyone is interested. (will help fund the new bars)

Sawwweeeeeetttt!!!! get us pics and updates, glad to hear you could grab one, ill hopefully ordering one as well soon, just waiting for a few more things to get done on the bike before im ready... honestly I liked keeping my keys for a while than I realized how its just more clutter and super un needed, if someone standing next to you wanted to steal it and the key was in your hand, they juts sit on the bike, reach for the wire harness and unplug anyone of the 2 wires and PEACE, so whats the key do than if its easier to pull one wire from the quick connect plug than to reach deep in your tightly sealed zippered atv pants pockets for a key? just a thought and my long stubborn opinion on hanging onto my keys for as long as I did my self

I will post up pics as soon as I get everything. Since I went with +2+1, it has to be made, he said 3-6 weeks. Hopefully not. But my only concern is the clutch cable length. I think I may be able to re-route it. If not, maybe I can find another to use.

Oh yea and the key, Ill probably ditch it. I never take it off the bike anyways.

I wish i could compare anti-vibe vs non on the same bike.
Going between my white blaster to this one it feels the same, although im sure this one is way worse

Haha doug was "shocked" at the difference. I got 2 LSR anti's twice dirt cheap, practically free both never used, was told bolth where +2's, but both seem to measure out having bars sit at same height as stock :( i cant wait myself to feel a real +2 and having it +1... Didnt know they had to make them but its good they will still do it.

Yea it stinks waiting, but honestly I'm not going riding anytime soon.
I'm thinking about going with the pro taper contour bars though. If I went with the high bend it would put me almost back to were I'm at. But they also make them in the raptor bend which is taller.
