    Blaster smokes, what's wrong?

Ok is the gearbox breather tube the little nipple sort of under the carb area on the right side if the engine pointing straight up with a hose that goes up and under the front hood. I thought this was the crankcase vent hose. When I did the leak test I couldn't build pressure unless I put my...

    Blaster smokes, what's wrong?

I have a 2004 blaster that I bought 2 weeks ago. It was blowing quite a bit of smoke when I bought it but the guy said it was newly rebuilt and he was mixing the oil a little rich. Since then I have ridden it probably about 12 hours and I am using yama lube 2 stroke oil mixing it 32:1. It still...

Need help figuring out proper jet size.

I just ordered a carb rebuild kit because my float needle is leaking which causes the carb to have a constant drip. I was wondering with my current set up, would it hurt in any way to go back to the stock main jet since it comes in the rebuild kit. Right now only difference from stock is the...

Ok is this what the reed cage should look like. It doesn't really have enough of a lip to catch on the engine block. From pictures I see on the internet all I see are cages with flanges with screw holes.

Need help figuring out proper jet size.

Ok I did some research and am heading to home depot after class today to build a pressure tester. I looked at piston and cylinder walls through the exhaust hole and it had a few lines on skirt but piston looks great and cylinder walls look great too. So I'm hoping I have an air leak somewhere...
