anything that might have any heat may , expand / contract but i dont normally see the bolt not fiitting , its how you fold the frame to make it fit , unless the frame is bent ( which might be the case) and the difference between now and than

Sounds like you chipped a tooth off the kick idle gear , that would explain why it takes a few kicks to catch a good tooth to turn over , I'm guessing that the broken tooth is stuck in the gears hince not shifting, pull the cover and let us know

As he said reeds sound possible , pull the cage and check the gap , if there not sitting tight it sounds very possible that's your problem

I'd have to have spark to backfire. The new plug is gapped correctly? Have you tried pouring gas on the plug then putting it back in for a kick or 2? Your sure the carb is completely cleaned out? Gas flowed smooth through the petcock draining the tank?

Understanding makes a world of difference , in higher alt , the air is thinner( if second grade taught me right) breaking it down your getting less air as far as i can understand , the correct air fuel ratio is a great running blaster in a general point of view , although every blaster and...

I didn't read the 12 pages but from the beginning it sounds like the gas cap , as he said I'd check to make sure it's getting air threw , you'd b surprised how often it happens that ppl don't think is possible

Based on eBay prices of shipping looks like around 150$ shipped , I'd have to bring it up to ups to find out but if it were at least close to that I've got no problem eating a few dollars let me know if your still interested

Blaster Motor , possibly part out , but shipping is on you , Ups, I'll be cheap as I can on parts , Stator is shot but have it , Ran prior but bought with the piston backwards needs a hone , think it 20 over as of now if interested I'll have it checked

Your gas cap have a vent? Try cleaning the carb out
