I got no problems with a Zuki. My Suzuki drz125 I bought new on a whim just to go riding served me well.
It's only problem was caused by me when I melted the viton on the carb inlet needle running nitro.
It leaked gas ever after and I beat on it relentlessly because it was always too small of a bike for me.
I sold it later for $500 complete with the Travis Pastrana graphics Suzuki sent me free in the mail to a kid that was workin on an asphalt paving crew that did my driveway a few years ago.
Yes I told him the problems but you can't stop a guy in love plus he got a good deal.
This is the only pic I have of it in the back of my 175 since the HD failure- back up your harddrives folks!

Depends on what year you get. According to some guys i talked to the 2003 model like mine has the weakest swingarm. So they recommend you get a swingarm from a newer z400. Also the stock shocks with rezzys on them is also a good upgrade from a newer z. Check the shock mounts for cracks. Also it is a BIG pain but you have to take the Gastank and fender off to change a spark plug. Also on the 2003 model i know for sure there is no "off" postion on the carb. But no gas will flow through on the "on" postion. you have to turn it to PRI postion for gas flow. I just got mine 4 days ago and havent rode trails but they it has nice handleing and nice suspesion. It all depends on the year and whats done to it. Hope this helped.
