ive got a guy locally that will buy 3 wheelers all day long,but only chain drive 1s

I thought all were chain drive.

no this 1 is shaft the Yamaha 225dx is shaft some of the later Honda big reds where shaft,and I think a few others are

Question, the 400ex and my predator 500 does this. It's won't go in neutral while running but once you turn it off it goes in neutral no problem.

do the clutch cables need adjusting?

I've read that honda and polaris are hard to put in neutral while running. I will adjust the clutches tomorrow but people say that hasn't worked for them.

iirc both of my friends predators were hard to get in neutral, never rode the one after it got a new tranny tho from 4th going out

Yeah sorry 250r 2stroke. Guy had it posted all summer for 1000. He emailed me last night responding to my junk 2stokes wanted ad. I told him I couldn't come anywhere near 1000. He told me to make any offer at all.

Yeah I am doing a little research. He says it runs but it has carrier bearing issues and rear axle issues. Looking to see how hard parts will be to get a hold of.
