    I'm planning on getting elkas but is it really worth 700+ bucks on the front for the lagacy series or are yfz450s just as good cause if they are I can save atleat 500$ dollars I want them for mx racing they are going on American star a arm LT thank you

    Elkas all the way, especially if they are valved and springs for your specific weight < something no factory shock has.
    if you're looking at used elkas, be sure to ask what weight they were set up for and get close to that, if new be sure they know that and your intended use
