Carb rebuild in order- bowl was filling with gas but not spraying into the manifold compression good ... Spark good.... Got it started by dripping fuel in the top where the throttle slides into carb
That's a new one, if you have to introduce fuel anywhere other than through the jets something is wrong in that area!
you should be able to see through the piolt jet when held up to a light.
good place to start...you need to remove float bowl and use a small screwdriver to take pilot jet out
all up in there

clean it
can of carb cleaner put pilot in like a cup or cap soaking in carb cleaner for like 10 miin
you can blow it out with compressed air or try something crazy small to fit in it/if necassary
