what size sprockets?

Does anyone what size rear and front sprockets make for best performance? Not really looking for anything specific just want good performance.

I like stock gearing. It's a well rounded ratio.

I could go for power . What combo would get you more power ?

A port and polish and a head mod.. changing sprockets isn't gonna give u more power

It's not all about gearing for power. I have run stock on modified and unmodified engines. Same with 14:40

I suggest 14:40 with more mods because you don't have to hop through gears as fast and don't need second gear starts while racing

Stock gearing is good if you want that "power" feeling but your not going to have much top speed.

I would say that 14 40 is a pretty good gearing for recreational riding with modified blasters. My dad's is 14 40 and he's got all done but porting on his and I can still pull great on a 2nd gear takeoff. You just gotta have the clutching mastered to keep the revs right.
