Vitos clutch kit

Hello new member, looking for some information on installing my clutch. I bought a vitos clutch kit and was wondering if I need to use the wave spring?(I call it the helper spring. I’m sure that’s not the correct name for it) also if I don’t need it are there enough plates/friction disk. Any help would be awesome thank you

Most aftermarket kits don’t use it. Just count number of plates.
Be sure to soak fiber plates in your trans oil for 24 hours before installation

How many fiction discs and steels am I supposed to have

Ya I do have the olds one but there wasn’t a helper spring and I would bet money they are cheap eBay clutch kit

Still uses same number of plates weather wave spring or not. Spring goes in narrower fiber.

Ya I got that part all figured out. Thank you for your help. Now have have a concern about the inner clutch basket/boss. So I install my new outer basket (which is a pro x billet basket) then the spacer that goes between the outer basket and inner boss. Then the lock washer (which is new) and tightened the nut to 58 ft lbs. so after doing all this my inner basket/boss does not spin independently from the outer basket. Have I screwed up somewhere or is this normal

The inner hub is splined to the shaft and would have to turn the whole shaft&gears
The basket should spin on shaft if no clutch plated
