Hi all I have found a used fmf gold series fatty on ebay for 100 bucks and the outside has some rust but thats no big deal for me to clean up and re-polish, but im worried about whats on the inside of the pipe. Is it possible for the baffles or whatever is inside the pipe to go bad over years of use and in turn possibly do damage to my motor?

I dont think there's anything in there when i had one it had no flange and was painted black so i sold it, i was wondering same thing how to clean out the inside but decided to get a better pipe
