Hey, guys, I have 2001 Yamaha blaster and I have a lot of rust on it and I really want to make it look good. Please help me with this I can't wait to do this. Thanks in advance.
Here are some pictures... Also, I hope I can tear it down it's really rusted.time for a complete tear down, couple cans of aircraft paint stripper, pressure washer and sanding,
or have it sandblasted.
then self etching primer and automotive paint, or have it powder coated.

Ok cool I will try my best at doing this thanks for your help. Also do you think it’s worth it to get a new back brake?I've seen and worked on worse
PB Blaster every bolt and nut a day or so ahead of time and let it do it's magic breaking rusted threads/nuts loose and don't be afraid to hit it with some heat to swell things up and break them free.
6 point wrenches and sockets are your best ally here !!!
Here are the colors I boss for plastics and the frame what do you think?I've seen and worked on worse

That’s what I have been thinking about I will be really careful about that. Thanks alotNo matter how you prep the framebe careful not to destroy the VIN number. As mentioned use aelf etching peimer.
Have also seen where Vin is only clear coated with powder coating because of thicknessThat’s what I have been thinking about I will be really careful about that. Thanks alot

Also phosphoric acid will turn the rust into a ceramic type substance. Still have to remove loose scale. Hardware store or auto paint supplies.
