Rims

Hi all. just looking in to new rims for my blaster. Stock stud pattern 4/156 on front and 4/115 on the rear as I'm using YFZ450 hubs.

What are some good options? sizes?

Stock rims 10" on front and 8" rear.

I don't do big jumps like some crazy people only do flat ground and trails and little bump jumps.

Would 10x5 and 9x8 be ok?

I used stock front rims and yfz450 rear rims as I also run the 4x115 rear hubs. I bought

Fronts I got STI Tech 4 XC ATV Tire 22x7x10 Fot real nice on the stock rims

Rears were ITP Holeshot ATV Tire 20x11x9

the main reason to go to 4x115 is to find cheaper 9" rims as there seem to be more/cheaper tires and rims that fit 9" rims than our stock 8" rims.

In the front i have 4/156 Douglas .190 wheel that are 10 X 5 with a 3.0 by 2.0 offset.
In back i like the 4/100 Douglas .190 wheel that are 10 x 8 with a 3.0 by 5.0 offset. The offset will make it wider.

Not sure what one to go with 9 x 8 or 10 x 8

Fronts I will get 10 X 5 with a 3.0 by 2.0 offset

I like the look of the taller 10" rim. A taller rim will give a small sidewall, and a smaller sidewall will give you less sidewall flex.
I also like to run a taller 22" tire so going with a taller rim will help me cut down on the sidewall flex of the taller tire.

Thanks, off the top of my head I think I had 22" tires on the rear with big side walls. 21x7-10 on the front.

I'm new to ATV tires and rims. When I go to order say front tires and I have rims 10x5 what is the size I should be looking for. I know the 1st number is the height of the tire ie: 22. But whats the middle number ie: 7? Is the how wide the tire is? if so what number should I be looking for that will fit the rim? I know 3rd number is rim size. Thanks

Rims are ordered.

Fronts = 10x5 4/156 3+2
Rears = 10x8 4/115 3+5

What size tire size would you recommend for me. Ride on fine gravel, bigger gravel, sand, Forest tracks. I don't do mud lol its to messy.
