reed spacers

what are your thoughts good or bad about reed spacers. Do they work well with the stock exhaust?

Reed spacers between the reeds and cylinder can bring the power on a little earlier, between the reeds and carb later.

Ok,that's good to know! I thought you could only put them between the reeds and cylinder.

With VF4's you cannot put them there.

Would it hurt to put a spacer in front of the Vforce4 ? I have stock cage and spacer now and I'm buying a V4 today! Just want to know if it would work against each other.

To hell with spacers unless your using one to clear the clutch arm when installing a larger carb.
