rebore with 68mm piston jetting

Hi

I am wondering if i must change my main jet to a bigger size from the stock size (230), stock exhaust with lid and stock reeds.

No, only changes in airflow into or out of the engine require jetting changes (exhaust/intake)

but, why did it require rebuilding ? incorrect jetting in the first place ? airleak ? just worn out ?
a leakdown test and plug chops should be performed on the new rebuild
