But it does explain how/why Yamaha chose the head design for the Blaster. And why changing it to a hemi head adds so much power.

Lol. I only scanned through the relevant chapters Quite interesting. Will be reading these 2 books over and over until I stop playing around with 2 strokes for sure.
They probly chose the head for reliability. Havent read that part yet.
