If you lose for commenting so do I and most of the entrys. I was just pointing out the rules seem very loosely enforced. The contest is/was over on 25th period. I am not a sore loser. I think we did well for a low post count and a new member. I think we still have a future shot but then again the prettiest girl dont always win homecoming.....LOL its all good and there are no hard feelings here. I am like you, ultra competitive in everything I do.

I think we should stop worrying so much about the rules for now and be glad we still have BOTM. I'm sure it all will get straiten out soon.
I seldom post in this thread cuz it's against the rules ... but since it's ok to campaign for exposure while competing, post as many pics & vids as ya want and advertise in your sig (not pointing finger at any one person, this has been going on for a loooong time), I really don't care bout the rules anymore. There are some beautiful bikes with a ton of work & money in them but I voted for the Goodman24 bike. I don't care how long he's been a member, I don't give a $hit how much he's donated or if he's complimented me in a post and given me rep. He built a very nice quad for a specific purpose and was not only successful but did it with style. I can see the endless hours spent tryin to pick up just a little bit more for the kid. I look at the bikes to see the effort put in them like if I had to do it myself. I look for the purpose if there was one. I expect the entrant to respect us all a bit by making a reasonable effort to post good pictures of a clean functional Blaster. Sure it should look great but I'll vote for ingenuity over big spending, performance over glamour and how the builder went about accomplishing his goal. That's just my perspective.
BOTM should be a grand monthly event and should be promoted by the staff ... but .. it needs to be reformatted with fair & workable rules that are enforced ... burp

posting in this thread starts bright and early every month, with the first voter tooting his own horn that he was first, and everyone else chiming in that they have voted, which probably helps this contest, by bumping it and keeping it fresh on the "new/todays posts" pages

Lookin at the average vote count over the years, posts in this thread doesn't seem to make much difference. It's the off topic threads, give aways and controversy that builds vote count. Soooo whatever ya do, just keep stirring it up

To tell the truth, I never read the rules for this thread till now. I've read the entry thread rules before. I'm trying to help keep BOTM going so next month I will follow ALL the rules for this contest.
Lol ... don't get your hackles up .. I ain't singling anyone out ... my comments are for those that know better, and to bug the admins a bit ... entries are up but vote count's about average this month ... When there's supposedly over 100 guests viewing this site at any given time, 45 - 50 votes seems pretty low. I really enjoy this contest and just like to kick it in the ass sometimes
