Didnt think anyone would care. but heres my project:

Ok so heres my latest project. Its a 2003 Kawasaki KFX400. I've always loved the Z platform and use to have an '04 Suzuki LTZ400 (pretty much the same quad). I picked this up for a damn good price (less than half of market value), anyways onto the pics:

Where it started:

As you can see it was pretty bare. The engine came in several bags/boxes. The chain popped and broke the left side engine case. I found a complete, almost brand new (less than 10hrs.) Bottom end out of a 2007. 2007 had ALOT of revisions. So it was a freaking steal what I got it for.

Some during pics:

After alot of waiting on parts. ALOT of running around. Alot of time/patience and reading. And not a whole lotta money, here she is. I'm very VERY proud of this quad because I never built a small engine (or any engine for that matter) before. After it was all assembled and all fluids topped off and primed it fired right up and she purrs like a kitten. LMK what you all think!

looks good! before i bought my blasty i looked at a kfx400 but the guy wanted like 2800, but I have just unde that into my blasty so,.. heh.. you should have cleaned the seat a little beter though it kidna throws it off

Maybe. But for now one tip I will give you is to flip your front wheels back around. How they are now you have more of a chance of a rock gettin stuck in there! And thats no fun, trust me!
