need help. 03 engine and wiring in 02 frame.

hi I bought a pre 03 blaster to fix. threw my 03 engine in it and realized the wires are different.

how do I put my 03 wire harness in it?

theres a black and white wire on the 02 harness that is mended together in a sleeve. I need help. I don't want to cut the wire because it leads to the kill switch I believe. how can I wire this up. I really don't want to mess up the harnesses to the point I have to buy a new one.

The black/white stripe wires are indeed the kill wires, the key and kill switches connect them to solid black ground wires to short out the ignition and kill the engine, touching the blk/wht wires to ground will do the same

as far as I've seen the only thing needed to put an 03+ engine in a pre 03 frame/harness is the extra green wire of the 03+ 5 wire stator will need grounded to the frame. you don't even need the 03+ CDI/TORS unit, and deleting the TORS is much simpler on pre 03 harness...just unplug the TORS box.
I've never seen any mention of fooling with the wires up under the hood for an 03+ engine swap
