I have a 2001 blaster I put a new top and piston rings gaskets cylinder but I still have low compression this is the second set that I’ve put in do the reeds cause low compression and what else can I do to see what the problem is thank you

Bad reeds will cause hard or no start. Does it run?
Did you use a cheap eBay kit?
What did the guage read?
Guage must have Schrader valve at end of hose. Adapter must be same length as spark plug.
Cheap gauges always read low on small engine.
Must hold throttle wide open, kick until gauge stops moving.
Have you done a leak down test?
