Little spring on floor when removing oil pump

I was about to reinstall the clutch plate after removing the oil pump and I saw a little round spring on the floor under the clutch. I don't want to put it back together if that is supposed to be somewhere Has anyone ever heard of this?? It's possible that the spring is from something else but I don't know. I am thinking it goes on the kick starter somewhere ?? Any help would be great Supposed to snow next week and I'd like to have it back together

That looks like a spring from an oil seal. See if it's same size as kicker

Yes that's what it's from.thats Awsome because I don't need it anymore and now can assemble with a clean conscience
