i was lookin at this on craigslist and was thinkin about buyin it,1986 kx125 dirt bike obo
i emailed him and got more ingo and he said he replaced the fork seels and rebuilt the mono shock and just recently got new tires, he said its 600 obo and runs great but it just doesent handle like a newer bike, what do you guys think? what problems should i look for? oh yeah and he said he had no title but he has customs paperwork from when he brought it over from japan.

If you are not serious about racing and want a decent bike to throw around, I say check it out. Of course it's not going to handle like a new bike, technology has def changed since then. It's a decent price if nothing is wrong with it. I have been looking to find one but everyone around here thinks their crap is made of gold.

Parts availability may be a problem on one that old. Back then there was changes every couple of years and some parts may be near impossible to find.

Yeah, i'd check for parts online to see if you can even find them.
