On my blaster the kickstarter does not always catch and turn over the motor. Sometimes when i kick, it just goes all the way down with no resistance. I have looked inside the clutch cover and i couldnt see anything wrong. Also i noticed that the kickstart hits the clutch cover when it retracts.

Rotate kicker one or two splines on the shaft. My guess is that plastic part of the kicker is worn
