KarterPhil's 02 rebuild

Have got round to stripping the PJ34 today, not a good start as i rounded two of the float bowl screws off so i ground a grove in them and used a flat head to get them out so i have ordered 4 Allen head M4 bolts for it. Ken has recommended a DHL needle 155 main and 50 pilot for it (those jets are just to run it in until I can jet it using the dyno) however the best i can get is either a DGL or a DGH, so i have ordered both to see what works best.
(advice would be highly appreciated !! :-/ )

I have just noticed i have a r1470n needle that came with the carb which if i recall is a DGL needle so i have only ordered a DGH

The main structure of the swing arm is now tacked until i get my new gas cylinder delivered as my current one is just pure co2 and id rather some nice argoshield to get some nice clean deep penetrating welds

I do think you need one of these:

The taps that keep on giving!
4 kegs of beer inside, Ginger Wheat, Hoppful India Pale Ale, Smoked Porter, and a thick Stout, plus Honey Red Ale and Grass Mowing Blond sitting in wait.
Very hard to run completely out... and gives you something to do with that pesky CO2 cylinder.

Update:
- have acquired a granite stone for case lapping :D
- have made my new heel guards but they still need grinding and painting

Right, so some pics then :D

Let me know what y'all think of my new MC custom heelguards (still not finished yet though, need some piping around the sharp areas on the plate, and need the steel painting).

Here are the pics forgot to upload them lol :p

Wow nice to see a uk build. Thinking of getting my head and cylinder done by KOR, thinking bout getting a new cylinder first tho as mines already bored over 1.1cm. Heard they get real hot when bored that much? O well few emails to ken should clear that up. Where in the uk you from? Have to come see that thing rip when it's done!

Is that how bad import tax can be? Hope I don't get stung with a big bill!

Ye, sometimes its ok a think they have the item mixed up, spoke to HMRC today an they are looking in to is, it should be around £90, if your buying i would just add 25% to your overall price including delivery and thats how much you should be due to pay, in the last week i have ordered 4 items from the US and there all around £200 £300 so i am hoping i don't get a big bill :-( try Rockymountainatv in the US they have got lots of good parts for the blaster and there tax is included in the price, example 4 190 alloy Douglas wheels to buy here £250 £300 + delivery, rockymountainatv delivered to the door in 3 to 6 days including tax an delivery £165 i'll be ordering all my stuff from there in the future, just ordered a Tusk axle should be here before Friday! Give them a look
