is my rearend bad?

Was just riding around the woods and it started making this grinding noise in the rearend. It also has a little play when you move the axle around. How expensive of a fix am i looking at? What happens if i keep running it like this?

Bearings need to be replaced. It will only get worse. Try tightening the lock nuts too. Maybe $45-50 bucks to fix. Maybe cheaper.

About $30 for all balls. It will get worse. It could seize causing wreck, or long walk home. Could damage either hub, then it wouldn't seal water out.

Be aware, it might be a witch getting sprocket hub off.
