I think I'm going to find a place out back to mount it, simply for the sake of keeping the runs short between the stator to rec and rec to my 12 amp hour battery.

This is going to be the longest 1200 mile drive of my life.... The anticipation of getting back home and getting this mod completed is gonna do me in!

I picked this one up so could ride with my son, it blew up on the second ride. So now it's put back together and being improved and I'm looking forward to me, the neighbor and his kid and Joe Joe kickin rocks together. And tinkering is a ton of fun too. I'm bit HARD. LOL

It's what I could afford for his first machine. Lol.
If I can get around to putting the other blaster together, he can upgrade.

Glad you can take a joke!
My daughter drove a CRF100 for years. I still have it.
Although she did start on a 80cc Yamaha 2 stroke:

I raised her right with the proper amount of redneck terror:

And this is how she gets me back:

Your rectifier trick looks like a great idea, thanks!

8 years Army, 18 as a trucker so far...... If I don't have thick skin and rough sense of humor by now I'd better just hang myself. Lol! I certainly appreciate a good ribbing!
