Whoa! I cant begin to tell you how many cables I had to throw away and buy new. I watched the whole video and im trying this method. EXCELLENT FIND AWK!

Well I tried it.. No such luck. Followed all instructions, Even had wife pull on cable. The barrel fell off when the brake was applied. Think I will just cough up a couple of bucks and replace all the cables with new ones. It was worth a shot. Still, nice technique.
